It comes and it goes,
In the waters crystal clear,
With the ebbs and the flows,
By the Thames banks near here.
The tranquillity is close,
Wherever the river can hear.

It’s a tick and it’s a tock,
While the hands pulse around,
With a back and a forth stock,
Chimes Big Ben filled with sweet sound.
The harmony of the golden clock,
Wherever her face can be found.

It’s quick and it’s slow,
The hours of toil sublime,
With the highs and the low,
Rhythmic words begin to rhyme.
The Muses bring the steady flow,
Wherever flourishes thrum in time.

It’s near and it’s yon,
Buildings cluster nostalgic visions,
With the present and the gone,
London still remembers each revisions,
Her character, her history, her people don,
Wherever the common free man provisions.

It’s life and it’s death,
To a culture spoken and known,
With the inhale and the breath,
Reorient focus away from the doom prone,
For what use is drinking from the river Lethe,
Wherever glorious hope is flown?

When Daemons upon the souls of elves engorged,
And the few stood against a swarm,
There came the day of hearts reforged,
Noble sacrifice did certain doom reform!

Ellindur Ironsoul, elf of human born,
For the salvation of his kin battled he most nobly,
At a narrow pass the Daemon host he faced with boundless scorn,
His Sword-Bearer brothers to the final stand all sworn,
Wielding their radiant Agarthi blades forged from iron godly.

General Ellindur spake, “We are the bearers of hope and steel,
With blessed tears were these blades forged!
Brothers, this day shall take all our strength and zeal,
But we will not kneel, our fate is ours to seal,
We shall not rest, at this crest shall our hearts be reforged!

Lo! The Daemon horde on the horizon now rises,
But gaze behind us, we bear their future with our swords.
Certain terror and doom are the Daemon’s guises,
At our final pass we shall make no compromises,
Their doom shall be reformed with the ringing of our steel chords!”

Mighty and tall, a undying warrior led the murderous host,
Jaheet of the Pahjere eyed the mortal foe,
Of his invulnerability from blades he did boast,
Curst suit of mail clad and a curved blade able to slay any ghost,
The Upyr then challenged stalwart Ellindur with hatred utmost.

Daemon bound, Jaheet claimed the Sword-Bearer he’d slay with but a single blow,
Smiling did the elf of human born face undying terror,
Two swords clashed, blades with power aglow,
Though mighty baneful magicks did his master bestow,
The Upyr could not easily vanquish Ellindur Sword-bearer.

Each advantage of foot Upyr Jaheet pressed,
Quick of mind their blades clashed,
Neither gained nor did their incandescent duel rest,
Sword-bearer Ellindur remained God-blessed,
Enraged, the Upyr’s blade struck true when at last he thrashed.

Jaheet the Upyr let out a terrible victory cry,
Ellindur’s teeth grit, he absorbed his blow,
Resolved to neither kneel nor fly,
His blade struck through the Upyr’s gullet spry,
Black-blood encrusted the radiant blade’s glow.

Engulfed in radiant white flame, decapitated, the foul Upyr burned,
Smote by his Agarthi blade Jaheet’s ensorcelled armor shattered,
 Undying champion thus slain, the battle tides turned,
Ellindur Sword-Bearer the treacherous Pahjere fear earned,
And a third of the Daemon host scattered.

Hearts hate-filled, Giants recoiled from Ellindur’s feat,
Still, few the valorous Sword-Bearers were,
Thus the vile Host swarmed at them, stomping their feet,
Blades clamoring, blood-hungry Goblinoids attacked with a bleat,
The elf of human born joined his brothers, gleaming swords turned a blur.

Wave after wave of blood-hungry Goblinoids flew,
Clamouring over their greedy Fallen to pleasant lands trespass,
Long through the nightfall did the Sword-Bearers take turns to vanquish their foe true,
Their radiant blades held off Daemon magicks to hope renew,
The few valorous Sword-Bearers held the Narrow pass.

The Fair Elven women and children behind the narrow pass prayed and cried,
Their faith dwindled when the sight of hate-filled Giants now spawn,
Their loathsome boneaxes cleaved Agarthi and Pahjere, their crunching bones collide,
With all hope doomed, still to the large Giants did the Narrow Pass remain denied,
From the bloodiest nightfall arose the shining Golden Dawn!

Their armor sundered and shields broken,
At the last hour fair elves their babes away did smuggle,
Noble Sword-Bearers fulfilled the oaths they've spoken,
Together they lie in death, their shining blades unbroken,
For fatal beyond measure was their life-saving struggle!

Ellindur Ironsoul, elf of human born,
Mighty Sword-Bearer and first among the vigilant,
Unrelenting, he fought even when his gut was torn,
At last breath, Ellindur blew his ivory horn,
Victorious he lay, having saved the innocent.

There Ellindur lay incorrupted still,
Agarthi sword grasped by force of iron will,
Mirthful his final smile aglow,
Alight the Hope to burn the baleful foe!

To Vanquish all Doom our Valiant Muses Apprehend!
